About this site

The Edmond Star is a Bahá’í inspired newsletter and an individual initiative (not associated with the institutions of the Bahá’í Faith). For an official online connection with the Bahá’í Faith visit https://bahai.us.
The Edmond Star draws its chief inspiration from Star of the West, a fascinating newsletter offered by some of the early North American believers. The star of the west can be explored at http://starofthewest.info.
Through our newsletter, we hope that disseminating spiritual topics and content will give rise to meaningful conversations creating new susceptibilities in human hearts and loosening the hold of biased norms and social systems.
Our ultimate goal is to transform the world through love - a love that originates from our relationship with the Divine.
The Team
Contributing to the newsletter we have Verbus Counts directing the content and vision of the site, Dr. Shaheen Counts as the newsletter's producer, and Quddús George taking care of the technical requirements.

In this Day the secrets of the earth are laid bare before the eyes of men. The pages of swiftly-appearing newspapers are indeed the mirror of the world. They reflect the deeds and the pursuits of diverse peoples and kindreds. They both reflect them and make them known. They are a mirror endowed with hearing, sight and speech.
